My Equipment

As a Communication Specialist in Athletics, specifically a sports photographer/videographer, let me talk about my equipment.

Until early January 2024, I took all my videos and photos with a Mirrorless Micro 4/3 (MFT) Panasonic Lumix G85. With that camera, I used two lenses, both Panasonic Lenses.

For Individual Audio Recording & Podcasts, I use a Movo Wireless Lavalier Microphone.

In March 2024, I started working with a Nikon Z5 Full Frame Mirrorless camera. In between, I took photos on a Nikon D750, compliments of Kent State University’s School of Media and Journalism.

Currently, my kit contains a Nikon Z5 and a Nikkor f2.8 24-70 ED lens.

There have been opportunities that I would like to thank the Kent State School of Media and Journalism for providing equipment to students, including myself.

I have used the Nikon D750 Full Frame DSLR camera, with prime and zoom lenses and a Panasonic G5 MFT Camera.

My Desktop: Custom-built PC – AMD Ryzen 7 2700x, NVidia GeForce 2070 Super (ASUS ROG Card), ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Wi-Fi

My Laptop: ASUS ProArt Studiobook 16 – Intel Core i9 13th Gen, NVidia 3060.
